The IFS North American User Group was started in 2002, and chose the name InFocuS User Group.

The InFocuS User Group Charter is to:
 
  • Establish and maintain open communication channels for the exchange and dissemination of information, between IFS and its North American customers.
     
  • Influence the services, product direction, and policies of IFS in the interest of InFocuS members.
     
  • Operate on a 100% volunteer basis.

openIFS User Group Forums
InFocuS participates in the online user group forums called openIFS. The openIFS user group forums are a user community collaboration site that is open to all IFS user group members worldwide and provides a place for users to come together to discuss and exchange ideas about IFS Applications.
 
Local User Group Meetings
The InFocuS User Group facilitates local user group meetings throughout North America. These meetings are often held at the locations of customers who volunteer to host, and are typically scheduled during the spring and fall of each year.
 
Special Interest Groups (SIGs)
The InFocuS User Group supports seven Special Interest Groups, or SIGs, in North America. The SIGs focus on specific functional areas including Finance, Distribution, Manufacturing, Projects, Business Intelligence, Sales & Marketing and System Administration.

InFocuS is open to all employees of IFS North American customers, and there are no membership dues or user group fees. InFocuS is managed by volunteers from a mix of IFS' customers.
