Applications for total visibility and control of its
heavy project-based business.
GFS' leadership team recognized that their business'
growth had created an overwhelming need for a different

Technology Evaluation
Centers Explores IFS Enterprise Explorer |
|
|
|
|
A blog posted to
Technology Evaluation Centers website explores user
interfaces (UI) and visualization technologies. IFS'
Project Aurora -including the first Project's delivery,
IFS Enterprise Explorer (IEE) are discussed. The new IEE
includes a sticky-note and breadcrumb features for
improved usability. Breadcrumb trials are a navigation
technique used to help users keep track of their
location within IFS Applications, similar to Windows
Vista.

Defense Manufacturer Contract

This month, IFS Defence
has received an order from a project centric defense
supplier. The customer is one of the world's leading
defense manufacturers. The new ERP system includes IFS
Applications components for project control,
manufacturing, inventory, purchasing and employee
administration. The expected product revenue is $6.2
million over five years.
